Outreach Worker for Central Birmingham

 

 

An enthusiastic Outreach Worker with a passion for working with children and their families is required to join the outreach team at a busy children’s centre in Central Birmingham. The position is full time, Monday to Friday.  The role involves providing high quality, planned experiences at  ‘stay and play’ and crèche sessions, completing learning journeys and base line assessments in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage Framework and attending home visits to advise and support families with new births and their children’s well-being.  It also requires the successful candidate to promote and signpost families to suitable local services that will create positive outcomes for their children.  The successful candidates will have a minimum of NVQ Level 3 in childcare or the equivalent and have significant experience of working with 0-5 year olds.  A full, clean driving licence with business use insurance is also essential.
