Safeguarding Policy

October 2025 Version 1.1.1

Ambassadors Resourcing provides Childcare and Education practitioners working with children, young people and adults at risk of harm in a variety of settings, including Mainstream Schools, Nurseries, SEN Schools and Children’s Centres.

We understand that safeguarding, child protection and promoting the welfare of all children is everyone’s responsibility and everyone has a role to play in protecting children. We recognise that our settings are part of a wider safeguarding system for children and will consider what is in the best interests of each child, in upholding the Human Rights Act 1998 and Equality Act 2010. Collectively, we recognise that children and young people may be exposed to a multiplicity of familial and extra familial harms. Therefore, all practitioners need to have the skills and knowledge to identify and respond to risk.

Ambassadors Resourcing is committed to safeguarding children, young people and adults at risk of harm in childcare and educational settings as well as the adults working for Ambassadors Resourcing in those settings. As a recruitment agency all the candidates working for us will adhere to the safeguarding policies of each of the settings that they undertake assignments at.

We believe that children and young people should never experience abuse of any kind.

Ambassadors Resourcing expects all practitioners to ensure their approach is child-centered and that they consider, always what is in the best interests of the child and if practitioners have any concerns about a child’s welfare, they know they should act on them immediately. Ambassadors Resourcing’s commitment to safeguarding is stated in the code of conduct as well as what is expected in relation to the personal conduct of our members of staff.

Ambassadors Resourcing operates safer recruitment procedures and makes sure that all the appropriate checks are carried out on the staff that work with children in line with Keeping Children Safe in Education, Part 1. All staff in the office that deal with the recruitment process complete Safer Recruitment training every 3 years and complete Keeping Children Safe in Education Part 1 annually or when any updates are made.
